outofgiggles; I just wanted to put this here; everyone comments how the World of Midgard punishes Two for being kind and normal. But in reality it’s not – she’s not without sin. But what sin could that be?
Her ignorance and naivete.
The world punishes her for being naive about the world, for being naive about protecting all those orphans on her own, naive about love, naive about her wants and desires.
We must understand that ignorance is not a cop out of not being punished, ignorance is not a get-out-of-jail-free card either. The world punishes you to teach you, and in teaching you it decides whether or not you bounce back from the experience or instead you hide away in a shell of fairy tale and depression.
Two didn’t learn from her mistake; she gave up on life, and decided to recede into her mind where everything is perfect. Where she didn’t have to live with her actions.
