I am selfish wanting
the all-devouring
Needing
Hoarding
Lusting
Starving
The sustenance for which I crave is not of food
Nothing warm and filling for the belly
But for my hearts desires—
For it to split in two from the sheer force of its consumption
I am the sin that knows not what limits are
The sin that must have everything for the fear of having nothing at all
I am

Which Sister are you closest with, Two? And which do you wish you were closer to then you are?

"Three and I are close! I’m… her big sister and I gotta look out for her!
I gotta make sure no one steps on her when she sleeps, and…
…..I have to be there for her.“

”…I wish I was closer to One like Four is. And I wish she was like she was when we were younger and… still looking to save the world. One doesn’t smile anymore like she used too and I worry about her. Three says she has a lot on her mind, and because of her senses I try to… be careful with what I do but…“
Two sighed, ”….I just feel this big invisible wall with her…
she’s /my/ big sister like I’m Three’s. I just… want her to see me too.“

outofgiggles; I just wanted to put this here; everyone comments how the World of Midgard punishes Two for being kind and normal. But in reality it’s not – she’s not without sin. But what sin could that be?
Her ignorance and naivete.
The world punishes her for being naive about the world, for being naive about protecting all those orphans on her own, naive about love, naive about her wants and desires.
We must understand that ignorance is not a cop out of not being punished, ignorance is not a get-out-of-jail-free card either. The world punishes you to teach you, and in teaching you it decides whether or not you bounce back from the experience or instead you hide away in a shell of fairy tale and depression.
Two didn’t learn from her mistake; she gave up on life, and decided to recede into her mind where everything is perfect. Where she didn’t have to live with her actions.
Sometimes she was said to drive a team of oxen and her lunar crescent was likened to the horns of a bull. Selene’s great love was the shepherd prince Endymion. The beautiful boy was granted eternal youth and immortality by Zeus and placed in a state of eternal slumber in a cave near the peak of Lydian Mount Latmos. There his heavenly bride descended to consort with him in the night.
A number of other goddesses were also associated with the moon, however, only Selene was represented by the old Greek poets represented as the moon incarnate. Other Greek moon goddesses included Pasiphae, the Leukippides,Eileithyia, Hekate, Artemis, Bendis, and Hera (who sometimes doubled for Selene in the Endymion myth).
The etymology of Selene is uncertain, but if the name is of Greek origin, it is likely connected to the word selas (σέλας), meaning “light”.

❋ ✩

❋ :Belief they have
Two believes with all her heart that there are people specifically made for one another in the world. She likes to think they wear red invisible strings on their finger and when they come together, they merge as one.
✩ :Belief they’ve questioned/struggled with
In moments of clarity, Two is beginning to wonder if there is any real point in protecting so many people at once. She tried to do everything; protect the orphans, soldiers, care for the people, but because she stretched herself so thin she ended up killing most of them.
So now, she’s come to terms that she won’t care anymore, and if people happen to die there isn’t anything she can do about it. A way to protect whats left of her sanity.

✮ :A moral standard

Previous to her minds shattering, Two was bent on saving the world from evil and those who did evil. She wanted to treat people with respect, help them when they were starving, and protect them from evil tyrants like the Lords previous to them. Through their sister One, the Intoner’s started to uphold the belief that because they have the power that they do, it’s their duty to protect others who are weaker – not take advantage of them.
This ideal travels with Two in her shattered state of mind, so much so, that sometimes she takes it too literally. Three perhaps is the only one who understands when Two says its time to ‘save people’, in actuality she means murdering them all. Perhaps this is merely the result of having to mercy kill all those children who turned into monsters at the bottom of the Cathedral, or the soldiers who turned into mindless beasts because of the power of her song. Either way, if Two believes you’ve done wrong, are suffering, etc, she will murder you without a second thought.
Two’s Story; Foolish Pair of Lovers
Warning; Spoilers!
"What’s important and what isn’t important.
What must not be broken, what can be broken.
Who, exactly, is it…..
…..that gets to decide that?"
It’s no secret that out of all the sisters, Two is the physically strongest. Given, all Intoner’s have a reasonable amount of human strength, but what separates the peppy cerulean goddess from the others happens to be the fact that her muscle tissue is constantly growing and evolving.
Every Intoner has a part of their body that consistently grows or sharpens with time and age; One’s hyper-awareness, Three’s hair, Four’s nails and Five’s breasts. Each of these characteristic are ever growing pieces of themselves, and each sister has learned to live with this annoying trait; Three cutting her hair, Four biting her nails and Five… well, Five doesn’t really deal with her big breasts, she gloats about them.
Two, however, being the strongest means the smallest action has a tendency to hurt her sisters and nearly kill humans. A practiced art was her concentrating carefully when not only interacting with people, but objects. On rare occasions Two will rip a door from its hinges with little effort at all, or break a persons hand by merely grasping it.
Because of her strength, she exercises will-power to control how fast she touches something, brushes against someone, and is mindful not to bump into anyone ( despite her being a terrible klutz ). And this was well in true while she was normal, but shattered and heart-broken Two has forgotten how to restrain her impulsive actions; and this is dangerous not only for her Disciple and sisters, but especially for humans.
With Two no longer restraining her strength, anything and everything can be a potential death sentence for anyone around her. Especially sex; A Disciple can withstand the strength and power of an Intoner, and Cent seems to be the only one Two will regain some consciousness enough to not hurt him during it, but unfortunately this does not extend to random one-night-stands.
If chosen to have sex with Two ( which her itch needs scratching badly ), its likely her partner will be killed from either having their hips smashed in, bones breaking, and bleeding out, or Two throwing a sudden outburst of angry emotions. These seem random, and come and go just as quickly.

outofgiggles; I wanted to put this here, but I go by Two’s Japanese Voice; Chiwa Saito. Personally I enjoy it more, and it sounds so much more haunting and deranged compared to her English Voice by Kate Higgins.
Here are some examples of Chiwa Saito’s portrayal of Two if no one has played the Japanese Version of the game:
