In The Beginning // Two x Three
“Nnmmn…”
The only response Three would offer her older sister at first was barely coherent. Two’s voice stirred her from her sleep, dragging her into consciousness despite her best efforts to stay asleep.
”I am now…
I must have fallen asleep.”She had always had a way of simply picking a place to lay down and pass out. Mattress, hay, dirt — she could sleep on any and all of it. There were times when she would sit without the intention of sleeping and doze off regardless without realizing it. Perhaps this was one of those times. Or did she decide on her own exhaustion and sleep in the streets? — She couldn’t recall, but she had done it before.
”It’s getting dark…”
Three stated the obvious as she lazily looked about, still carried on Two’s back. Wasn’t it light out when she and her sisters split up to explore?
”Was I sleeping for that long?”

“Yup! Yup you did!"
Well, in all honesty the young girl was merely assuming – what with how Three had nothing on her person when she was found. If Three had bought anything with the given money it hadn’t been found – was it stole? Would someone steal from a child?!
The nerve if they had!
"See, what kinda big sister would I be if I left you there?! Hehe! Sides, why’d you sleep, anyway? Don'cha wanna see the city? You can sleep when its night!” Which ironically it was turning, “I think I got some money left! Maybe we could.. oh.. uh.."
Immediately the eldest stopped in her tracks, holding tightly to Three just at her back, "maybe someone’s still open to sell us food. Yeah? Are ya hungry?!”
